Let’s assume that you brought a Google G2 phone.
\nLet’s also assume this common action: from the Menu, you launch an application.<\/p>\n

Which of these three buttons will take you to the main menu ?<\/p>\n

  1. ‘Menu’ button<\/li>\n
  2. ‘Back’ button<\/li>\n
  3. ‘Home’ button<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    In case you did not know the answer, the correct alternative is nr. 3. ‘Home’ button always takes you to the phone’s desktop. The ‘Menu’ button only brings back the application menu – which usually is named ‘Options’ or ‘Settings’ etc. The ‘Back’ button – oh well – this depends on context.<\/p>\n
